Fresh Cranberry Orange Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 zest orange
  • 2 oranges, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 12 ounce bag fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Add water to slow cooker.

    Stir in orange zest.

    Add remaining ingredients and cook on high for 2 hours. Reduce the heat to low and cook an additional 4 hours. Taste and add more sugar if needed.

    Remove cinnamon stick and refrigerate to chill before serving.
