Slow Cooker Baked Apples Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 large honeycrisp apples
  • 1/2 cup pecans chopped (may substitute walnuts)
  • 1/3 cup Craisins
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Core apples. Place in bottom of slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, combine pecans, Craisins, maple syrup, ginger, and cinnamon. Stir.
  3. Stuff apples with nut mixture.
  4. Dot top of apples with butter.
  5. Cover and slow cook on low for 2 to 3 hours.
  6. Serve topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
