How to Make Vegetarian Jalapeno Poppers
To make these poppers, start with jalapeno peppers.

You may want to wear gloves while doing this. Also, do not touch your face or eyes while handling jalapenos, and be sure to wash your hands when you are finished.
Bake the jalapenos at 400 for 15 minutes. Allow to cool five minutes before stuffing.
Next, you want to mix cream cheese with Everything But the Bagel seasoning.
By the way, if you want to make these poppers vegan – not just vegetarian – you could use a vegan cream cheese substitute.
Helpful Hint: It is easiest to mix the seasoning blend into the cream cheese if you have allowed the cheese to come to room temperature.
If you don’t have Everything Bagel seasoning, you can make your own Everything But The Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend by combining:
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
- 2 teaspoons flaky salt
Once you’ve mixed the cheese and seasoning, spread the cheese onto the cooked jalapenos.
