How to Make Vegetarian Jalapeno Poppers
To make these poppers, start with jalapeno peppers.
Slice the poppers in half lengthwise. Then carefully scape out all the seeds and viens.
You may want to wear gloves while doing this. Also, do not touch your face or eyes while handling jalapenos, and be sure to wash your hands when you are finished.
Bake the jalapenos at 400 for 15 minutes. Allow to cool five minutes before stuffing.
Next, you want to mix cream cheese with Everything But the Bagel seasoning.
By the way, if you want to make these poppers vegan – not just vegetarian – you could use a vegan cream cheese substitute.
Helpful Hint: It is easiest to mix the seasoning blend into the cream cheese if you have allowed the cheese to come to room temperature.

- 2 teaspoons flaky salt
Once you’ve mixed the cheese and seasoning, spread the cheese onto the cooked jalapenos.
Return the stuffed jalapenos to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
Once your jalapeno poppers are out of the oven, top them with a little red pepper jelly.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Cut jalapenos in half and scrape out seeds. Line up on a baking sheet.
- Bake jalapenos for 20 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
- While jalapenos are baking, mix together the cream cheese and Everything But the Bagel seasoning.

How to Freeze Jalapeno Poppers
If you’d like, you can freeze these jalapeno popper.
Once you have baked the jalapenos and stuffed them with cream cheese, place the cooled down baking sheet into the freezer for about 2 hours or until the cheese starts to harden.
Remove jalapenos from the baking sheet and transfer them to a freezer safe bag.
Label the bag and freeze for up to 3 months.
To serve: Allow the poppers to thaw in the fridge overnight.
Transfer to a baking sheet and bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
