Are your kids as crazy for popcorn as mine are?
Why not think outside the chocolate box this Valentine’s Day and create these simple but delicious popcorn treats?
I like to buy the Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop Kettle Corn from Costco. It is non-GMO, gluten-free, and free of high fructose corn syrup.
When it comes to holidays, I like my kids to participate, but I also like to provide some alternatives to the sugar laden treats.
I also like to give my kids a way to feel like they are giving something special. Something they can DIY and present with love and pride.
Plus, personally, I’m a sucker for anything that is both sweet and salty. My kids (and dogs!) happen to be crazy for it too.
Now, I am the Natural Green Mom, so please excuse the plastic bags in my photos. This was done for the pictures only.
I’m going to suggest you grab some compostable paper bags and use those instead.
Next, download and print these FREE Printable “You Make My Heart Pop” Valentine toppers.
For the quickest and easiest Valentines, have the kiddos load up the bags with delicious popcorn, fold over the tops, and staple!
TA-DA! You’ll have one-of-a-kind Valentines all the kids in the class will LOVE!
Do your kids want to participate a little bit more? Have them decorate the bags by coloring or adding stickers.
Have a Happy Valentine’s Day!
