Making your own homemade fruit snacks means you can add all natural healthy ingredients and avoid the nasty ones like artificial dyes and high fructose corn syrup.
The secret to easily creating gummies at home?
Buy a 100% Fruit and Vegetable Juice like Naked Juice.
The more varieties you buy, the more colors you’ll have.
Even better than making a rainbow of unicorn gummies?

In addition to buying 100% fruit and vegetable juice, you’ll need gelatin.
Did you know gelatin is a healthy source of the amino acids glycine and proline? It is needed for optimal immune function and weight regulation. (read more about gelatin uses and benefits)
This is my favorite brand of unflavored gelatin.
Once you have your juice and your gelatin, you’ll heat the gelatin over medium heat before dissolving the gelatin into it.
Once it is dissolved, pour into molds and refrigerate to allow to set.
It really is that easy.
Healthy Homemade Fruit Snacks
Easy to make healthy homemade fruit snacks without any nasty ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup 100% Juice I used Naked Juices
- 3 tablespoons Unflavored Gelatin
- 1 tablespoon Honey optional
Instructions

Heat the juice over medium heat to just below boiling.

Sprinkle the gelatin over the juice and stir until dissolved.

If adding honey, add it at this time.

Pour gelatin into molds. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before removing from molds. Store in refrigerator.
The color juice you buy will determine the color of your homemade healthy fruit snacks. Buy a variety to get a rainbow of colors.
