Last month I shared some of the infused water recipes that we enjoy in our family. This month, I’d like to share with you our favorite smoothie recipes like:
Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Smoothie
If you’ve read this site for any amount of time, you know I have a thing for tea. In fact, I have so much tea in my house, I could put those extreme couponing stockpiles to shame. Ok. So maybe it’s not that bad. But it is bad enough that I store my tea in 3 different locations in my house – so my husband doesn’t know exactly how many boxes I have. 🙂 Which is kinda ridiculous – I mean its not vodka – it’s just tea! However, I keep saying I’ll stop stocking up. Then another .50/box coupon deal comes along, and in come 4 more boxes!
This recipe takes chai tea to a whole new level! And making a smoothie with tea means less calories than other smoothies.

Combine chai tea, milk (my personal favorite is vanilla soymilk), greek yogurt and banana in a blender.

As always, if you try this, let me know what you think!

Sounds very yummy. I have some Oregon Chai Tea that I mixed the other day…very good just the way it is, but I can’t wait to make a smoothie out of it! Thanks for the recipe!

Sounds yum but I’m dairy/palm/coconut-free. Any suggestions for the Greek yogurt?
Hoping ‘yes’…

Hi Tanya, Could you do a soy yogurt? Or does that count as dairy? Andrea
