My 30 Day Sugar Detox Challenge
Today it starts! 30 Days of Sugar Detox. I’ve outlined my goals for the sugar detox challenge here.
My first act was to rid my pantry of all sugar and flour. I put it all out in our freezer for when the challenge is over.
To know me, is to know I love to bake. On this sugar detox, I’ll be experimenting with coconut flour and almond meal. If you’ve never made almond meal, here is how to make homemade almond meal. Super easy to make. Cooking with it can be a bit trickier!
My second act was a shopping trip to Costco for “approved” foods. If you are joining me, you can print out this shopping list.
It almost killed me to look for green bananas. I’m used to buying the over ripe!
I’m not adhering to the 21 Day Sugar Detox meal plan 100%. But, I think the shopping list gives you a good starting place to stock your pantry with the appropriate foods.
Now that I have all the appropriate foods on hand, I’m ready to face this challenge!
