  1. Thanks for the great list. Great learning experience. Do these 30 skills feel like habits or still on learning curve?Do you have less craving for sugar filled / processed items now?

  2. Cathy, Great questions! Thank you for asking. I can say during the 30 Day Detox I didn’t really ever crave sweets. And I don’t crave them now – but I don’t have the detox as the excuse to say “no” either. That said, yesterday at the Super Bowl party I attended, I didn’t carefully select what I ate. I ate just as junky as you’d expect at a Super Bowl party. And boy did I regret it. I had tummy aches and tummy troubles. Enough so that I have resolved to going back to eating almost as carefully as I did on the detox. I’m that sick to my stomach. It has been quite a lesson learned. Andrea

  3. A psychiatrist said that the majority of depression could be cured by eliminating sugar from the diet. In fact he was so much in demand that he would not take clients until they had been sugar free for one month before he would agree to see them. His recommedation to stave off sugar cravings was peanut butter and or pickles… My go to is to brush my teeth.

  4. Brushing your teeth is a great suggestion Jeannie!

  5. Angel Saumier says:

~Keep healthy snacks in the car for road food. I keep Trail Mix and Bottled Water. Sometimes I bring Lemon Water or Sun Tea along as well. The less reasons you have to stop somewhere for food and drink while you’re out, the better.
~Getting enough protein in the diet will help stop sugar cravings. Hypoglycemic attacks can be avoided by eating eggs for breakfast and keeping protein levels high. Adding Protein Powder to smoothies can help with this as well.
